When you’re pregnant, it’s wise to pay more attention to your diet. Most important is that your diet is varied, healthy diet. Eating fresh vegetables and fruits every day will make sure you get enough vitamins, fibers and minerals, and will make using vitamin supplements redundant. We advise to start taking extra vitamin D (10 micrograms per day) at 16 weeks. Research has indicated that 30 to 70% of pregnant women has too little vitamin D in her body.
